This is the house where Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose lived. This building was built by his father Janaki Nath Bose in the year of 1909,now it is a memorial hall of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. It includes museum, archives and library. It shows the life & time of Subhas Chandra Bose,the stair case which he used during his secret departure & the car used by his time.Now Netaji Bhawan is the centre of Netaji Research Bureau.

SOVABAZAR RAJBARI

The Shobhabazar Rajbari is among one of the oldest Royal houses of Kolkata. Founder of this Royal Palace is Raja Nabakrishna Deb, It was buit in the middle eighteenth century.Special feature of this Palace is, its Thakur-Dalan, locally known as "natmandop". Raja NabaKrishna Deb noted for his contribution in "Bengal Reneissance" and starting "Durga Puja".

FORT WILLIAM

The foundation of this fort was laid by Robert Clive. in a are of 71 acres this fort took 10 years to complete. Now Fort William is a Head quarter of Eastern Command of Indian Army.This fort can accommodate 10,000 army personel at a time.Access to this Fort Willam is resticted in respect of National Security.

Writers Building is a Heritage building built by the East India company in the 17th century,Popularly known as a"Mahakaron".Previously it was a head office of state Chief Minister.It was built in the year of 1777 for the servants of East India Company.After so many structural changes this 150 meter long roman building has 13 blocks out of which 6 were added after India won its Independence

Metcalfe Hall is the first public property use as a library in Kolkata, Managed by Prince Dwarkanath Tagore. This library had a cllection of more than 4500 books, transferred from Fort William. look like famous Greek Temlpe of Wind, this famous building was built in mid of nineteenth century(1840-1844),designed by city Magistrate C.K.Robinson. This building was dedicated to Sir Metcalfe for his notable cotribution in free press movement in India.
